About the position
Reporting to the Director, Crisis Management and Continuity of Operations (CMCO), the Analyst, Platform and Tools, provides technology, automation, and tools related and analytical support to the team. The role helps deliver team processes, maintain tools and documentation, support reporting and incident logistics, and strengthen the Bank’s ability to sustain essential functions during disruptions by improving the digital platforms, tools, and processes that support business continuity and crisis management.
The position connects operational resilience and technology enablement to support readiness, effective response, and continuous improvement. It also contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and visual analytics that track operational readiness, incident status, and data-informed decision-making.
What you will do
You will manage and enhance platforms, tools, and technologies that support business continuity and crisis management, including solutions such as ServiceNow, Everbridge, SharePoint, and Power BI. You will design and maintain dashboards, data models, and reports to track operational readiness, incident status, and recovery metrics, enabling timely, data-informed decision-making.
In addition, you will:
- provide subject matter expertise on continuity and resilience tools, including their evolution, integration, and supporting roadmaps.
- identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, digital solutions, and AI-enabled tools.
- support incident response and simulations by maintaining tracking systems and setting up communication channels.
- ensure teams have accurate, up-to-date information during critical events.
- collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen operational resilience, support governance and compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
What you need to succeed
You have strong experience working with data, reporting, visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, and enterprise workflow automation and service management platforms such as ServiceNow, and Crisis communications and tracking platforms such as Everbridge. You have an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work through complex or unstructured challenges.
You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, including during high-pressure situations. You communicate effectively, collaborate well across teams, and take a proactive, adaptable approach to your work. You also bring exposure to AI-enabled tools or automation in operational environments, with an interest in applying these capabilities to improve efficiency, reporting, and decision support.
Nice-to-have
- Understanding of business continuity, crisis management, or operational resilience
- Familiarity with cloud, cyber, or resilience strategies.
Your education and experience
You have five years’ experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, information systems, or data analytics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You also bring experience working with digital platforms, analytics, or operational processes.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. Although the position language requirement is English or French essential, we do encourage everyone to improve their second language proficiency for future career growth and to contribute towards fostering a bilingual environment.

Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. - Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $94,195 to $110,820 (job grade 16)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
