What’s new 
This is a new position to the Payment and Settlement Operations (PSO) team and will play an integral part in preparing the team for successful implementation of internal and externally driven
 change.        

 

What you will do 
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Projects and Integration, the Change Management Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing and leading change management activities impacting Payment and Settlement Operations (PSO) and focuses on business readiness, executive alignment/commitment and communications as part of the program and project delivery. In collaboration with key project stakeholders, the Change Management Specialist assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the changes required for business readiness and success.  The incumbent will build an understanding of the organization’s resources and capacity for change and will develop the processes, tools and techniques required to effectively meet the change objectives.  Furthermore, the Change Management Specialist will have a keen ability to navigate through ambiguity, will readily adapt to changing priorities and posses an innovative outlook and proactive mindset. 

 

Additionally you will:

  • Develop actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, risk mitigation plan, and resistance management plan. 
  • Be an active and visible coach for leaders at all levels and those participating in the change. 
  • Engage Analysts within the team in the planning and execution of change strategies.
  • Conduct business change readiness assessments, evaluate results, prepare reports, briefings and deliver presentations and trainings.
  • Prepare reports, briefings presentations  and trainings to key stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and education on organizational change methodologies. 
  • Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success. 

 

What you need to succeed
You have advanced knowledge of organizational change principles, approaches and methodology. You possess strong coaching skills and the ability to do so at all levels of the organization. You are able to develop effective presentations and present information clearly and concisely. You have experience with strategic planning, and you are familiar with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle. 

 

Nice-to-have 

  • Knowledge of ADKAR methodology.
  • Change Management Professional (CMP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Agile principles.

 

Your education and experience
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Computer Sciences or other related discipline and 6 years of experience in training and/or changing organizational culture; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
 
 

What you need to know

  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
  • Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
  • Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Secret 
  • There will be no relocation assistance provided

Hybrid Work Model

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $108,874 to $128,087 (job grade 17)
  • The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at  7 to 10% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (5%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.

  • Extra vacation days (up to five each year) that you can purchase to add to your vacation entitlement
  • Option to join the indexed, defined-benefit pension plan after 24 consecutive months of service
