What you will do
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with procurement specialists, procurement analysts, and business stakeholders that acquire a broad range of goods and services for the Bank. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and team playing skills that support quality, efficiency, and compliance in our services clients. If you are considering a career in procurement and contracting, this placement is perfect for you.
You’ll be administering, executing, documenting, and retrieving various procurement and contracting requirements part of the Bank’s Procurement Services team, for internal clients and external vendors. You will also participate in strategic initiatives with your colleagues to develop, change, streamline, and digitize processes and data as part of business excellence, continuous improvement and operational planning.
Your education and experience
You must be currently enrolled in a university or college program as a full-time, part-time, or co-op student, pursuing a degree in business, commerce, supply chain management, or related field.
What you need to succeed
- Experience in a client-facing, administrative role or project(s) – your previous contributions may come from school projects, special committees, summer or part-time jobs
- Strong analytical skills – our business is about the “details”
- Strong communication and team-playing skills – you will support a wide variety of dynamic teams, people and roles
- Self-driven work ethic – you will need to be a self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through to completion
- Curiosity and the desire to learn – our business is changing and growing fast
- Flexibility is key – you will be on one of the busiest teams in the organization
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel
- Bilingual – functional level
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP, SharePoint and MS Teams
- Individuals interested in summer placement, as well as continuous employment during your school year either as part-time or through a co-op program

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. Although the position language requirement is English or French essential, we do encourage everyone to improve second their language proficiency for future career growth and to contribute towards fostering a bilingual environment.

Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
