About the Position
We are seeking an innovative and dedicated individual to join our forward-thinking Identity and Access Management (IAM) Portfolio in the Cyber Security Division. You will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled team of cyber specialists working in a fast-paced environment enabling Canada’s Leading Bank to work securely.
You will provide hands-on technical operational support for the continuous improvement of mission critical Access Management services and capabilities designed to enable Bank to identify, protect, detect and respond to cyber threats.
As a Senior Developer – Credential and Identity Administration, you will lead the coding, implementation, deployment and support activities for the PAM, IGA, and AD platforms that manage identities and privileged access.
Your future key responsibilities
- author the detailed design specifications, code, implement, deploy and support identity & access management security solutions that meet Cyber Security strategic and tactical objectives while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
- install and maintain application components leveraging IGA Tools and its respective code repositories
- work with Information Technology Services (ITS) operations staff, as required, to improve and change application components.
- monitor the performance of systems and service agreements to ensure that ongoing service delivery standards, service levels and policies are met.
- build automation solutions in such a way making the best use of our IGA tools & technologies in place.
- participate actively in operational support and service management activities including on-call support, incidents resolution, and service validation and testing activities.
- analyze and resolve variations of common incidents and gather information about more complex problems to be escalated with vendors and service providers.
- implement enhancements or propose solutions to operational problems and communicate implementation progress to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- provide on-the-job training, coaching, guidance and support to more junior colleagues.
- research and monitor technology developments and industry trends; assess their applicability, functionality and reliability for the Bank; and recommend technologies that will enhance productivity and help clients achieve their business objectives.
What you need to succeed
The successful candidate will have practical experience in designing and developing identity lifecycle, privileged identity security, and machine identity security solutions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely will be crucial in this role. As well, possessing the willingness to seek colleagues’ views and opinions, contributing towards team goals and readily partnering with others will be required.
This position requires:
- experience working with identity governance and administration platforms
- experience working with privileged access and secrets management platforms
- experience working with IT service management platforms
- basic understanding on the MS Entra ID SSO & other security related integrations
- experience managing different Identities with SailPoint IGA tools such as for Machine / Service Accounts
- hands-on Development experience with SailPoint IIQ & SailPoint IdentityNow AI Tools
- expertise with SailPoint IDN Automations / capabilities
- proven Integration experience with SailPoint and other external Platforms such as ServiceNow, Ansible and Directory Services
- hands-on development of Rules, Policies through SailPoint ISC RDK
- configuration management, CI / CD leveraging Azure DevOPS / other standard tools
- experience working with large language modules and artificial intelligence agents
- technical knowledge of basic networking, Web Services protocols such as REST and API design for extensibility and portability as well as XML/JSON data formats
- having clear understanding on different Authentication & Authorization frameworks, MFA Techniques.
- technical expertise in SSL/TLS, PKI and certificate-based authentication, LDAP, HTTP Proxies and Web Servers, and main identity-based protocol - OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
- software development, (Java and RESTful API development) as well as continuous integration and testing
- Practical Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, Kerberos and Single Sign On
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills with the ability to make sound decisions when giving advice
Nice-to-have
- Experience in:
- Cyber Security, threats analysis, proactive risks mitigation.
- AI Exposure & Implementation skills
- Implementing API health monitoring, metrics reporting and auditing
- Agile product delivery
Your education and experience
- bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT Security or relevant field
- a minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in the field of Software development; ideally in a mix of banking, government or mid- to large-size corporations
or
- an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $111,051 to $130,649 (job grade 17)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 7 to 10% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (5%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
