About the position:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Cyber Initiatives team. This role is critical to accelerating our Cyber Artificial Intelligence (AI) program by transforming early ideas into well-defined, high-value AI use cases and enabling informed, investment decisions. The position operates at a strategic and cross-functional level, providing leadership, expert judgment, and insight across complex and integrated cyber, data, and AI initiatives.
This role is designed for a senior practitioner who operates with a high degree of autonomy, influences long-term direction, and shapes outcomes that extend beyond individual projects.
What you will do:
As a Senior Business Analyst (Cyber AI), you will act as a trusted advisor to leadership and delivery teams, shaping the Cyber AI program from ideation through prioritization and knowledge institutionalization.
In addition:
Cyber AI use case development:
- Lead the transformation of Cyber AI ideas into clearly articulated investment-ready use cases.
- Characterize use cases by effort, complexity, value, risk, and strategic alignment.
- Develop comprehensive business cases and decision artefacts.
Portfolio prioritization and investment guidance:
- Design and apply prioritization frameworks for Cyber AI initiatives.
- Advise leadership on investment sequence and strategic roadmaps.
- Define requirements for complex, multi-faceted Cyber AI solutions.
- Act as a subject-matter authority in business analysis practices.
Knowledge development and documentation
- Build and maintain a Cyber AI knowledge base.
- Produce clear, executive-ready documentation (e.g. use case briefs).
- Monitor trends and emerging opportunities.
Mentorship, influence, and collaboration
- Influence senior-level decisions through evidence-based recommendations.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and thought leadership across teams.
What you need to succeed
You are a self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can build and maintain relationships across multiple levels of partners. You also have a strong attention to detail, are analytical, and capable of solving problems independently or as part of a team.
In addition, you have:
- Extensive experience in senior-level business analysis.
- Experience with complex technology, cyber, data, or AI-enabled environments.
- Proven ability to develop business cases and investment rationales.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced analytical and documentation capabilities.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, analytics, or data-driven initiatives.
- Knowledge of security concepts, frameworks, and processes
- Relevant Business Analysis designations/certifications (CBAP, etc.)
Your education and experience
Your combined education and work experience demonstrate that you have the proficiencies and skills for the role. We are ideally seeking candidates with a relevant bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or candidates with a college diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. - Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $111,051 to $130,649 (job grade 17)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 7 to 10% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (5%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
