About the position
We are seeking an innovative and dedicated individual to join our forward thinking Cyber Security Division. You will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled team of awareness, risk and data analysts working in a fast-paced environment enabling Canada’s Leading Bank work to be Cyber safe. 

 

Reporting to the Director, Cyber Strategy & Partnerships, you will work in close collaboration with Cyber Division portfolios, and multiple stakeholders across the Bank to ensure that corporate reporting quality, reports, documentation, and communications for the Bank’s senior audiences are optimized.  

 

Your future responsibilities 

  • Simplify and analyze complex information and translate it in a coherent communications content, including briefing notes and executives summaries to C-level 
  • Design, create, and produce high quality communication materials and demonstrate how the communication material and content is linked to stakeholder communication needs.
  • Create impactful communication content to drive senior leadership and C-level engagement, and align all employees to Cyber Security’s strategic priorities
  • Actively contributing to evolving the communications strategies and tactical plans to successfully deliver all prioritized initiatives and programs
  • Continuously measuring communication effectiveness and audience engagement through assessment and measurement plans
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop corporate cyber strategic plans.
  • Create and maintain multiple internal websites to facilitate two-way communication with key stakeholders.

 

Your knowledge and skills

  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organization
  • Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and experience with cyber or security risk management frameworks, principles and models (e.g. NIST, ISO)  
  • Sound knowledge of current and emerging cyber security risks, threats and risk mitigation best practices
  • Strong ability to enable Risk-based Decision making

 

Assets

  • Knowledge and experience in enterprise oversight and governance frameworks (e.g. lines of defense)
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational change management


Your education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in Cyber Security and/or Risk Management, Communication, public policy or business writing

or

  • an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

 

What you need to know

  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
  • Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
  • Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Secret

Hybrid Work Model

The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank`s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $​​​​​​$4,173 to $4,909 (bi-weekly) (job grade 17)
