Core Technology Services
We are seeking interested candidates to join our diverse Core Technology Services (CTS) team! Reporting to the Director, CTS Network and Observability Services, you will become a member of a unified workforce recognized for its diversity, inclusion, and leadership in infrastructure innovation. Our team is driving the transformation and deployment of advanced hybrid and cloud solutions spanning networking, security, operating systems, storage, and observability technologies.
Our projects typically involve multiple systems and stakeholders at various levels across several departments with project teams of 8-12 key members across different domains (Analysts, Architects, Developers, etc.).

What you will do
As a Project Manager, you will lead multiple project teams in delivering renewed, secure, cloud-first and hybrid IT infrastructure solutions. You will ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while helping drive the organization’s cloud adoption strategy. You will manage the overall scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying project management methodologies for planning, tracking, change control and risk management.
More specifically, you will:
- Manage medium and large IT hybrid and cloud infrastructure and application projects, ensuring clear technical requirements, dependencies, and risks are understood and documented
- Develop and present project plans, prioritize and delegate work to achieve project objectives, assigning resources and ensuring the collaboration of other teams
- Translate and document complex technical inputs with accuracy, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders
- Advise management on capacity planning and demand management to balance project requirements with core business activities
- Collaborate proactively with other project or program managers to manage interdependencies in cloud and hybrid environments and optimize flow for project team
- Manage multiple agile projects related to technology, process and data while working closely with the delivery transformation team and its stakeholders
- Oversee project-specific performance and risk data management (defining, collecting, assessing needed data) and the development of dashboards
- Manage change requests and risk mitigation plans
- Report project progress regularly to senior management and sponsors
What you need to succeed
You are an effective communicator who can translate complex technical information into clear project documentation, able to clearly convey key points, and lead your project team within an agile environment. You are a great team-mate, understand cloud and infrastructure concepts, and consistently deliver results. You thrive in a dynamic environment, have a strong attention to detail, and possess the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks concurrently.
In addition, you have:
- Experience leading and delivering cloud and hybrid infrastructure projects including networking (firewalls, etc.), Operating Systems (Windows/Linux), and/or other relevant infrastructure initiatives.
- Experience with major cloud service providers and cloud migration strategies.
- Ability to understand technical requirements to ask the right questions, identify dependencies, and support informed decision-making.
- Experience working with leading IT Infrastructure vendors and providing basic infrastructure advice and subject-matter expertise to clients and your project team
Nice-to-have
- Relevant certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification
- Strong familiarity SharePoint and JIRA for project tracking
- Experience delivering projects with a major focus on operations
- Experience in a major financial/banking environment
Your education and experience
Your combined education and work experience demonstrate that you have the competencies and skills for the position. We are ideally seeking candidates with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another related discipline along with 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager (or similar role) with advanced knowledge of IT project life-cycle management and service delivery/support processes

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $126,765 to $149,135 (job grade 18)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 7 to 10% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (5%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
