We are seeking interested candidates looking to grow their career in IT Contract Management with one of Canada's Top Employers! Reporting to the Assistant Director, Supplier Management and Organizational Effectiveness, you will work alongside the IT Procurement Lead and IT Contract Management Specialists in a collaborative and engaging environment that supports the overall IT Contract Lifecycle. 

 

What you will do 

As an IT Contract Management Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between team members, clients, vendors, and Procurement Services providing critical advice and information regarding procurement and contract policy, guidelines, processes, and compliancy. 

 

More specifically, you will: 

  • Initiate small to medium complex procurement transactions (i.e., RFQs, Release Orders, amendments, etc.) 

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining documentation while ensuring compliance with procurement and contract management policies, guidelines, processes, and contractual obligations 

  • Provide timely advice and information to clients in response to general and complex questions regarding contract management policies, guidelines, and processes 

  • Communicate clear and concise contract overviews and make recommendations on contract approaches to clients, and provide clarity on contract elements when required 

  • Maintain rigorous and up-to-date documentation to support audit readiness, organizational accountability, and transparency 

  • Assist with the development of process improvements and implementation of enhancements, using technical knowledge and communications skills to influence the approach 

  • Collaborate actively with procurement, cross-functional teams, and internal/external counterparts to clarify business needs, address situational complexities, and support client and operational objectives 

  • Provide technical guidance, training and direction to colleagues as required 

 

What you need to succeed 

You are a critical thinker and can identify needs, define analysis to be performed, interpret data, and make recommendations to move forward. Your strong organizational skills, sound judgement and decision-making skills enable you to work under pressure in a multi-faceted environment with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders. As a team player, you collaborate with others to get work done, understand team priorities, and are responsive to requests for help. 

 

In addition, you have: 

  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement and contract management policies, guidelines, processes, and best practices 

  • Ability to deliver services to clients to the required standards and collect qualitative and quantitative data to identify risks, trends and produce reports that help with decision-making  

  • Ability to understand and monitor policies and procedures and flag breaches as required  

  • Ability to produce clear and effective written documents —including correspondence, reports, and documentation that appeal to and influence the intended audience 

  • Strong verbal communication skills to address stakeholder needs and guide team members through complex contract and consultant oversight  

  • Ability to manage competing timelines stemming from multiple contracts with different renewal dates, negotiation windows, and implementation schedules  

  • Ability to adapt quickly to change, applying problem-solving skills and embracing new approaches in ambiguous situations 

  • Strong digital literacy and AI fluency to stay current of emerging technologies  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 

 

Nice-to-have 

  • Experience working with ServiceNow, SAP, SharePoint Online and/or Power BI 

  • Proven experience in an IT procurement and/or contract management environment 

 

 Your education and experience 
This position requires a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, supply chain management, or a related discipline and three (3) + years of relevant experience within a procurement and/or contract management environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French.  The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional).  If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Hybrid Work Model

The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $82,586 to $97,160 (job grade 15)
  • The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at  5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
