About the position
Under the general direction of the Senior Manager, you perform duties that are central to the processing, controls, and day-to-day management of the general ledger and sub-ledgers. You also assist a team of financial experts to deliver services to Bank departments and the Project Review Committee. 


In this position you will have to:

  • generate, input or verify accounting entries which may include revenues, expenses, investments, fixed assets, receivables and payables, accruals and provisions, etc.
  • perform reconciliation of bank accounts and data between systems
  • provide analytical support for month-end and year-end close 
  • assist managers across the Bank and financial business partners on matters related to corporate planning and financial management
  • respond to a variety of enquiries from clients to resolve daily operational concerns or questions


Your education and experience
Studying toward a bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce or business administration – emphasis on accounting (financial and management) (preferably in final year)


Your knowledge and skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous and excellent organization skills
  • Effective oral and written communications skills
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office


Language requirement
English or French essential

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $22.16 to $25.85 (job grade Student C)
