Our People Analytics Team
We are seeking a strategic data professional to join our high-performing People Analytics team. Having successfully established our foundational analytics capabilities, we're now focused on advancing predictive modeling, strategic workforce planning, and driving organizational transformation through self-serve analytics. Reporting to the Director, People Analytics and HR Digital, you will work alongside other analytics specialists to deliver sophisticated insights that shape leader decision-making across the organization.

What You Will Do

You will lead analytical projects, develop predictive models, and architect scalable data solutions that drive business value. You will also champion advanced analytics practices and mentor junior team members to increase the organization’s overall data maturity. 

 

More specifically, you will: 

  • Partner directly with HR clients to translate complex business challenges into analytical products, providing actionable insights that influence decisions
  • Create and manage interactive Power BI dashboards that enable self-service analytics across the organization
  • Contribute to the implementation of robust data pipelines, automated ETL processes, and real-time monitoring systems that ensure data quality and accessibility
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies (AI/ML platforms, cloud analytics, automated reporting tools) to maintain the team’s ability to deliver efficiently
  • Educate and enforce advanced data governance frameworks, including privacy and ethical AI practices

 

What You Need to Succeed
You are a strategic thinker who can balance technical rigor with business pragmatism. You excel at communicating complex analytical concepts to diverse audiences and have a track record of contributing to high-performing teams. You are passionate about using data to drive meaningful organizational change and stay current with emerging technology trends and their uses in people analytics.

 

Assets 

  • Expertise with data visualization tools (such as Power BI) and data modeling 
  • Ability to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources using Power Query
  • Strong coding skills in DAX and additional experience in Python, R, or SQL 
  • Significant client service experience that allows you to translate requests into analytical results that meet business needs
  • Experience cleaning or analyzing HR data such as compensation information, transactions, time entries, and self-ID
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent HR Information System
  • Change management experience, particularly in leading data transformations

 

Your Education and Experience

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., data science, analytics, math, computer science, human resources, business) along with 4+ years of recent work experience in a data-related role. 

 

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French.  The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional).  If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Training may be provided to help reach the required level.  Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Hybrid Work Model

The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank`s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

    • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $92,346 to $108,643 (job grade 16)
    • The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at  5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
    • Flexible and comprehensive benefits so you can choose the level of health and dental coverage that meets your needs
    • Extra vacation days (up to five each year) that you can purchase to add to your vacation entitlement
    • Option to join the indexed, defined-benefit pension plan after 24 consecutive months of service
