About the role
Reporting to the Assistant Director, IM Lifecycle and Collaboration, withinn the Data andDigital Services department and working under the direction of the Technical Team Lead, the Content and Collaboration Specialist plays a key role in shaping and evolving the SharePoint/M365 environment to strengthen content management and collaboration across departments and teams. The role embeds information lifecycle management principles into day‑to‑day work by improving information architecture to support business needs while ensuring records, retention, and disposition requirements are met.
You will also contribute to the adoption and implementation of AI‑enabled solutions to enhance the client experience and streamline business practices. Through hands‑on delivery, guidance, and enablement, this position bridges business needs, information lifecycle management, collaboration, and emerging digital and AI capabilities to support a more efficient, modern, and data‑informed workplace.
What you will do
- Lead and/or support SharePoint implementations, including client needs analysis, information architecture design, site configuration, and content migration.
- Respond to standard SharePoint/M365 service requests, including guidance on metadata, permissions, content organization, and effective use of platform functionality.
- Support the implementation of electronic records management in SharePoint, ensuring alignment with records management rules applied through Collabspace.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the introduction of new M365 applications, third-party add-ons, automation, content type redesign, permissions optimization, and monitoring.
- Design, pilot, and support AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform) to enhance content discovery, automate routine tasks, and streamline collaboration workflows.
- Deliver or support training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer sessions for clients, power users, and operational support teams.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of processes, procedures, and guidance to ensure sustainable and effective use of collaboration and content management platforms.
What you need to succeed
- Experience working with or supporting SharePoint, enterprise content management platforms, and/or information management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information and make sound recommendations.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and partners.
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of digital records management principles and practices and related standards such ISO 15489 (Records Management) and experience working with a records management system.
- Experience delivering training or education sessions related to information systems and digital tools.
- Experience applying AI-enabled capabilities within SharePoint and Microsoft 365, such as using Copilot to improve content discovery, collaboration, and productivity.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform to support automation, digital workflows, and enhanced client solutions.
- Awareness of emerging AI use cases and responsible adoption practices in enterprise content management and collaboration environments.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Your education and experience
This position requires a college or university degree in archives, information management, library science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in content management, records management or archives environment. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience maybe considered.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $82,586 to $97,160 (job grade 15)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
