Who we are
Employee Communications is a team of dedicated colleagues who work together to help employees get the right information at the right time to do their work and have a great experience at the Bank. What you will do 
You will play a key role in delivering the Bank’s employee news, internal communications, engagement and events. In this role, you will:

  • Drive Impactful Communication: Coordinate, publish and distribute engaging content across multiple internal channels.
  • Enhance Digital Presence: Coordinate and stage content on the intranet and other internal platforms.
  • Create Compelling Content: Draft, review and refine messaging for internal campaigns and key employee events.
  • Collaborate for Engagement: Partner with teams across the Bank to develop content and videos that inform, engage and inspire employees.
  • Tap into data: Use analytics to measure content performance, generate reports and refine our strategies to support continuous improvement.

 
What you need to succeed

  • exceptional writing skills
  • keen attention to detail
  • experience preparing content for web publishing
  • advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite 
  • versatile, digital-first communications skills 
  • ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • creativity and ability to offer suggestions to evolve our work, processes, communication tools and channels
  • team player who is willing to provide and receive constructive feedback and contribute to common goals
  • experience working in a high-performing communications department

 

Nice-to-have

  • experience publishing web content using WordPress
  • experience using Google Analytics, JIRA, and/or other reporting and analytics tools
  • experience creating videos and using various tools and technology to deliver engaging content
  • experience in employee communications
  • experience in web content design and usability

  
Your education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or college certificate in communications, journalism or another related field, with three to five years of relevant work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

 

 

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French.  The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional).  If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Training may be provided to help reach the required level.  Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Hybrid Work Model

The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank`s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $72,070 to $84,788 (job grade 14)
  • The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at  5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.

  • Extra vacation days (up to five each year) that you can purchase to add to your vacation entitlement
