Organizational Communications is a team of dedicated colleagues who work together to help employees get the right information at the right time to do their work and have a great experience at the Bank. What you will do
You will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of the Bank’s employee news, internal communications, engagement and events. In this role, you will:
- Drive Impactful Communication: Coordinate, publish and deliver impactful and engaging internal communications that support business priorities and help employees navigate change, using the right channels at the right time.
- Enhance our Digital Presence: Coordinate and stage content on the intranet and other internal platforms.
- Create Compelling Content: Draft, review and refine messaging for internal campaigns and key employee events; contribute to the development and delivery of comprehensive communications plans and strategies.
- Collaborate for Engagement: Partner with individuals and teams across the Bank to develop content that informs, engages and inspires employees; provide advice and guidance to colleagues, work collaboratively with team members and resolve problems.
- Tap into data: Use data and analytics to measure content performance, generate insights and reports, and continuously refine our communications strategies to support continuous improvement.
What you need to succeed
- experience working in a high-performing communications department
- exceptional writing skills
- very keen attention to detail
- experience preparing content for web publishing
- awareness of AI-enabled tools and digital trends, with the ability to explore how they can enhance communications workflows, generate insights and enhance the employee experience, while exercising sound judgement.
- comfort working in a fast-paced environment, and dealing with ambiguity and evolving priorities
- sound judgement and ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences
- ability to learn new tools, platforms, and approaches quickly
- advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite
- versatile, digital-first communications skills
- ability to plan, prioritize and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- creativity and ability to offer suggestions to evolve our work, processes, communication tools and channels
- team player who is willing to provide and receive constructive feedback and contribute to common goals
Nice-to-have
- experience publishing web content using WordPress
- experience using analytics and workflow tools (such as Google Analytics, JIRA, etc.), to improve content, processes or team effectiveness
- experience creating videos and using various tools and technology to deliver engaging content
- experience in internal communications
- experience in web content design and UX
Your education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or college certificate in communications, journalism or another related field, with three to five years of relevant work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Training may be provided to help reach the required level. Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $82,586 to $97,160 (job grade 15)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
