Did You Know?

Following the successful technical migration of SAP to S/4HANA on RISE in 2025, the Bank is now entering a critical business transformation phase to enable and optimize SAP S/4HANA capabilities across multiple business areas. This phase focuses on business process transformation, increased automation, streamlined operations, and enhanced user experience.

Role Context

To support this transformation, the DDS SAP ERP Ecosystem group is seeking a Business Support Analyst who will play a key role in business and technical enablement by supporting delivery teams through analysis, coordination, and structured tracking of requirements, releases, and dependencies. The role supports Project Managers and technical teams by ensuring information flows effectively between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

What you will do

Reporting to the DDS SAP ERP Ecosystem Assistant Director, and as part of the SAP S/4 Migration Project team, the Business Support Analyst will work closely with a Lead Project Manager and technical delivery teams to support and be responsible for the delivery of specific project sub-initiatives within the broader Business Transformation project.

The incumbent will be required to quickly develop an understanding of the project scope, schedules, system dependencies, risks, and delivery constraints to effectively manage assigned sub-initiatives and provide analytical, technical and coordination support throughout the project lifecycle.

This role acts as a bridge between business and technical teams, requiring strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and delivery teams, and the ability to understand and communicate both functional and technical concepts.

More specifically you will:

  • Support the delivery of SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives by coordinating activities across businesses, ERP and IBM.
  • Support Release Management by coordinating the Agile Board, tracking release dependencies, monitoring release readiness and cross-initiatives impacts.
  • Maintain delivery plans, dependencies, risks, and issues logs for assigned workstreams, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines and governance standards.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for assigned initiatives, providing clear, timely status updates and stakeholder support.
  • Demonstrate strong client support by owning issues end‑to‑end, coordinating with the project manager and delivery teams, and ensuring resolution through proactive communication and follow‑up.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements, priorities, and delivery risks.
  • Prepare and maintain project communications and reporting, including status updates, dashboards, and milestone tracking.
  • Organize and support workshops, working sessions, and meetings, including preparation of materials and documentation of outcomes.
  • Provide backup support to the Lead Project Manager as required to ensure continuity of delivery.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present project information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate system issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Project management knowledge, including familiarity with project lifecycle phases, governance, and delivery methodologies.
  • Strong ability to act as a technical liaison between business stakeholders and ERP/IBM, translating functional needs into clear, actionable technical inputs.
  • Knowledge of incident, issue, and defect management, including root‑cause analysis and coordination through to resolution.
  • Knowledge of Release Management activities, including backlog and Agile board coordination, dependency analysis, release readiness validation, and impact assessment across workstreams.
  • Security and compliance awareness, including role‑based access controls, secrets management, and key privacy and regulatory requirements.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working in or supporting SAP environments and understanding of SAP landscapes (DEV, QA, PROD) and cross-systems dependencies.
  • Exposure to HR, Finance, Procurement, and/or Currency business areas.
  • Experience using tools such as ServiceNow Agile Board or Project Status reporting dashboards.
  • Project management certification (or working toward one).
