About the position
Working in the Human Resources Department, the HR Organizational Effectiveness (OE) team is dedicated to enhancing organizational effectiveness, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and advancing initiatives that contribute to the department’s overall success.
The Business Support Analyst plays a key role in enabling the effectiveness of the OE team and HR leadership by coordinating essential corporate processes, providing high-quality administrative and business support, and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, OE and Vendor Management, this position primarily supports the Senior Director, HR Client Services, while also working closely with the Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director, and other members of the HR Leadership Team (HRLT). The successful candidate will be part of a team of administrative professionals, working collaboratively and providing backup support to one another as required to ensure continuity and excellence of service.
What you will do
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive administrative support function, including day-to-day departmental operations, procedures, logistics and requirements, ensuring smooth operations and enabling senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities.
- Provide dedicated administrative support to the Senior Director and respond to business support needs across the broader HR leadership team, including daily calendar and inbox management for senior leaders and making travel arrangements and complete expense claims.
- Coordinate cross-departmental meetings, prepare briefing, and reference materials, and manage logistics with internal service providers, including catering.
- Coordinate and support key corporate and operational processes within the OE team, including ordering office supplies, leading ATIP coordination activities, strategic planning activities, financial reporting, onboarding and offboarding, continuity of operations, and contract monitoring.
- Contribute to a positive and engaging work environment by coordinating events and administering HR's recognition program to celebrate employee achievements.
- Use approved AI and productivity tools responsibly to support administrative efficiency, improve workflow management, and enhance executive support.
- Collaborate closely with a team of administrative professionals, providing mutual backup and support to ensure seamless service delivery during peak periods and absences.
What you need to succeed
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Outlook with demonstrated experience in complex email and calendar management.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of business process management and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes, quickly problem-solve, and take initiative while exercising sound judgment.
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and manage competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of professionalism.
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
- Interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to drive efficiency, challenge existing processes, and enable smarter ways of working.
Your education and experience
Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration), and a minimum two years of relevant experience providing dedicated administrative support to senior leaders, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). - Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $66,179 to $77,858 (job grade 13)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 3 to 5% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (2%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
