About the position
We are seeking an innovative and dedicated individual to join our forward-thinking Procurement Services team! Reporting to the Director, Procurement Services, you will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled team of procurement specialists enabling a broad range of procurements and contracts in support of Bank programs.

What you will do
Working closely with the Corporate Procurement and Operations Lead (CPO Lead), the focus of this role is to enable information, analysis, tools and capabilities to support evolving enterprise, departmental, and business objectives for the Bank’s procurements. You will assist in the innovation and implementation of data and digital strategies and projects to address complex corporate purchasing solutions, procurement modernization and automation. In addition, you will assist with critical operational activities related to the Bank’s procurement-to-pay systems, dashboards, processes, metrics, as well as reporting and oversight functions.
More specifically, you will:
- Lead, coordinate, and/or manage information gathering, analysis, development of technical and non-technical requirements, project planning with Bank stakeholders to meet departmental and/or business objectives
- Define business and system processes; design and implement process improvements and system enhancements
- Develop detailed technical user requirements, process mapping, and procedures documentation
- Lead, manage, administer the SAP access framework, including updating tracking sheets, obtaining approvals, and coordinating related IT activities with stakeholders
- Lead and/or participate in SAP functional testing, acceptance testing and end-user training
- Identify operational and project risks, troubleshoot and manage issue resolution between stakeholders
- Perform monitoring and reporting activities to support policy compliance requirements; recommend changes to support continuous improvement, including benchmarking functions
- Provide support on reporting functions including ATIP requests, internal audit activities, metrics and progress updates for senior management, FCC, and the Board
- Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to progress initiatives
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and presentations on related projects
- Provide SAP / technical training and guidance, where applicable
What you need to succeed
You are a great team player, a confident communicator and have the ability to quickly grasp and analyze complex issues, diagnose multi-dimensional problems and devise insightful/appropriate responses or strategies to address them.
In addition, you have:
- Experience working in supporting activities for complex ERP systems, data and digital processes, and tools
- Experience working on innovation projects and initiatives
- Experience gathering and documenting user needs and translating them into technical and non-technical requirements and user stories
Nice-to-have
- Experience with projects and initiatives within a procurement and contract environment
- Experience in SAP Procure-to-Pay System, business analytics, data and digital transformation
Your education and experience
The position requires a college or university degree, at least five (5) years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $83,500 to $98,235 (job grade 16)
- Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay. The first tier of performance pay is for successfully meeting expectation, at 5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay for those who exceed expectations (10% of your base salary).. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
