What’s new?
The Currency Department has undertaken a multi-year project to replace many of our critical applications with a new Centralized Cash Management (CCM) system. Multiple phases have been completed, with a final phase currently underway to replace the Note Exchange System (NES). Our team supports all aspects of CCM for the Currency department, including first level system support.
What you will do
Guided by the Senior Manager, you will be working closely with other Business System Analysts to contribute to the development, enhancement, and support of our systems.
Through close planning and business relationships with the individual business lines and partnership with ITS, you will provide analysis and guidance on the prioritization and delivery of ITS changes (through Agile methodology) as well contribute to the implementation of these changes and improvements while ensuring that the technical projects are aligned with the department’s evolving business objectives.
Additionally, you will:
- lead the deployment and upgrade of applications/systems used in the Currency department
- conduct functional testing and lead user acceptance testing (UAT)
- contribute to the development, enhancement and support of systems that are used in the core business functions
- work with ITS to schedule and approve changes to production
- send communiqués related to scheduled maintenance and changes to production to users in the department
- maintain collaborative relations with internal clients and external counterparts to support operational objectives
- resolve “how-to” questions related to applications and systems
- participate in projects and provide support to ensure issues, risks, and changes to the Currency environment are managed effectively
- provide front line support to Currency as part of the weekly support rotation.
What you need to succeed
We are looking for an effective communicator who can write business impact analyses based on client needs and requirements, has strong interpersonal skills and can work independently and in a team environment.
You will put your problem-solving skills to work by troubleshooting system issues and questions, gathering
information, resolving discrepancies in information, discerning relevant data and making sound decisions when giving advice or making recommendations.
Planning and organization skills are required to plan, set priorities and monitor projects and initiatives, ensure follow-through, and deliver quality work outputs on time.
You should have a good understanding of the fundamentals of computer systems and the IT methodology used in client server environments, in particular Agile methodology and the system development life cycle.

Your education and experience
- Relevant college or university degree (e.g., Information Technology, Project Management, Business Analysis) and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a system support environment with relevant platforms (such as SAP, ISA,, NES, G&D ICO) or providing business/process IT analysis.

Language requirement

Hybrid Work Model

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $92,346 to $108,643 (job grade 16)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
