What you will do 

You will be a key contributor to the delivery of the Bank’s employee news and internal communications. 

  • build, peer review and edit content and ensure timely publishing and distribution
  • coordinate communications materials for internal campaigns and events
  • cooperate with other teams to inform and engage employees on a broad range of topics and programs
  • develop and generate reports using data analytics to help improve the quality and performance of content
  • establish work procedures, schedules and quality checks to ensure that work is produced efficiently, with an eye to continuous improvement

 

What you need to succeed
We’re looking for a versatile digital-first communications specialist with outstanding English writing skills and strong French, who has a proven knowledge of WordPress and is adept at using the MS Office suite. 

 

You’ve got great attention to detail, you’re comfortable prioritizing and delivering high-quality work on tight timelines, and you can negotiate with others to arrive at a shared definition of what success looks like.

 

You love being a creative team player who is willing to provide and receive constructive feedback and contribute ideas to meet common goals and corporate priorities. Knowledge of web content design and publishing and previous experience in employee communications would be strong assets for this position.

 

Your education and experience
You have a bachelor’s degree or college certificate in communications, journalism or another related field, with three to five years of relevant work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

 

 

What you need to know

  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.

Remote work / Hybrid Work Model #LI-Remote

The Bank is conducting a trial of a hybrid working model which provides employees with the flexibility to telework for significant portions of each month. During the trial, employees will only be required to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person.  For the majority of employees, it is expected that onsite time will range from 5 to 10 days per month, depending on your role.  You are expected to live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.  For this position, should you not live within reasonable commuting distance of the office, you will be able to work 100% remote (within Canada) for the duration of this term.

 

Vaccination Policy

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $64,705 to $76,125 (job grade 14)
  • Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay for successfully meeting (5 to 7% of your base salary) or for exceeding expectations (10% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
