What you will do
Reporting to the Manager, Planning & Transformation (P&T) in the Financial Services Department (FIN), you will provide production operational support and testing to applications critical to the delivery of a range of financial services across the Bank, as well as to the administration of Unclaimed Properties (UPO). You will apply your knowledge of support methodologies and skills in client relationship management to planning, tracking issues, testing systems and managing risk. 

Additionally, you will:

  • Provide incidental and operational business and system support for FIN and UPO business lines
  • Administer user access management tasks and audit reviews
  • Contribute to small scale enhancements and updating of internal department documentation
  • Provide support in user acceptance testing of FIN and UPO systems
  • Interact and collaborate with internal and external partners (business & ITS), stakeholders and vendors

What you need to succeed 
You are a self-starter and effective communicator, both orally and in writing. Your innovative problem-solving skills enable you to troubleshoot technical and business-related problems and determine root causes. Your base knowledge of financial accounting/reporting/planning/analysis, as well as your experience in support for assisting in needs assessment and confirming business requirements make you a great analytical thinker.
 
Your education and experience
This position requires a post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or management information systems or a professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA) or actively working towards one and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in at least 2 of the following: financial accounting and reporting and financial planning and analysis, accounts payable/receivable, SAP FI/CO or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.

Hybrid Work Model #LI-Hybrid

The Bank is conducting a trial of a hybrid working model which provides employees with the flexibility to telework for significant portions of each month. During the trial, employees will be expected to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person and to build connections with colleagues.  For the majority of employees, it is expected that onsite time will range from 5 to 10 days per month, depending on your role.  You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $72,695 to $85,520 (job grade 15)
  • Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay for successfully meeting (5 to 7% of your base salary) or for exceeding expectations (10% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
